Public Outreach for the Northern Ventura County Coastal Watershed Project

Client: Rose Foundation for Communities and the Environment

The Rose Foundation contracted with Blue Tomorrow to perform public outreach for the NVCCWP. During the fall of 2014, Blue Tomorrow developed a PowerPoint presentation, and organized and delivered five public presentations through different forums with an estimated total attendance of over 150 people. These presentations, in chronological order, were given to: 1) Los Angeles Regional Water Quality Control Broad staff; 2) local nonprofits and community members at a colloquium hosted by the Bren School of Environmental Science & Management; 3) the Ventura Chapter of the Surfrider Foundation; 4) local community members, hosted by the Water Science Department at Ventura City College; and 5) employees at Patagonia Inc., hosted at Patagonia’s headquarters.
