Blue Tomorrow was contracted by the Manzanita Band of the Kumeyaay Nation to implement a continuous air monitoring network to detect levels of ozone (O₃), nitrogen dioxide (NO₂), particulate matter (PM2.5), and PM10 throughout the Manzanita Reservation. Blue Tomorrow developed a Quality Assurance Project Plan (QAPP) and installed, calibrated, and is operating and maintaining all the custom air quality monitors. Blue Tomorrow has a monitor that is collocated in Alpine, CA at an air station managed by San Diego Air Pollution Control District. A website was developed by Blue Tomorrow that displays air quality data from the monitors and contains other project information and community resources. This project began in 2022 and is on-going.
