Chumash Interpretive Signage Project

Blue Tomorrow developed educational forest signage on the traditional history of Chumash in the Los Padres for the Santa Ynez Band of Chumash Indians. Blue Tomorrow’s team of environmental scientists helped with the development of eighteen (18) signs that include the traditional Chumash history as it pertains to Los Padres and that educate fisherman and other visitors to the forest on the Endangered Southern California Steelhead. This project requires knowledge of species protection and how this can be done through education, fostering stewardship, and by informing the public of regulations that protect these species.
