The Blue Tomorrow Community Support Project is conducted on behalf of community groups that are concerned with potential impacts from industrial operations in Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties. We at Blue Tomorrow provide science-based technical information, and partnerships are formed with stakeholders and various local groups who provide funding, labor, and other resources to support the projects.
The Community Support Project is fiscally sponsored by the Rose Foundation for Communities and the Environment, a 501(c)(3), which administers charitable donations and grants directed towards the projects. Donations go directly to projects through supporting administration, project development, project execution, and public outreach of significant findings. Partnerships and project designs vary based on specific concerns and funding opportunities.
To make a donation of less than $1,000 to a Community Support Project please click here to be directed to the Rose Foundation donate website (rosefdn.rdsecure.org/donate-project). Once on the Donate to a Fiscal Sponsored Project page fill in your information and make sure to select the Blue Tomorrow Community Support Project under “I would like to direct my donation to.” If there is a specific Community Support Project you would like to fund please specify in the comments box that you would like your donation directed towards that project. If desired, donors of less than $1,000 can get their name or organization listed on an acknowledgements section of the report.
***Attention if you are planning to donate $1,000 or more please contact Alex Dragos at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone at 805-455-3089. It is preferred that donations of $1,000 or more go directly through Blue Tomorrow or the Rose Foundation to avoid a small credit card surcharge. If desired, donors of $1,000 or more can have their name or organization listed on the front page of any final reports generated for the project.
